Here at Errington we are very lucky to have a wonderful outdoor area. The opportunities provided outdoors reflect those offered indoors, covering all areas of the curriculum. The children enjoy a range of activities. We have leaning huts, climbing frames, gardening areas and an allotment. We have recently grown, pumpkins, beans, strawberries, cucumbers, beetroot, potatoes and a range of beautiful flowers. The children have loved trying their home-grown fruit and vegetables! Errington is a forest school and enjoys making the most of outdoor learning. The outdoor area is used daily, we ask all nursery and reception children to bring a pair of wellies that can be left at school, we enjoy going out in all weathers! Our outdoors area allows children to connect with nature, explore the world around them, building problem solving skills and take on new challenges and risks in a safe environment.
