The children studied the work of the Victorian Arts and Crafts designer William Morris. They designed, and created their own wallpaper designs using traditional methods (block printing) and modern methods (CAD). Following this, they researched the furniture, textiles and lighting they might find in a Victorian room. The children worked in groups to make their rooms and furnishings. For the final activity, the children travelled forward in time and added an electric light and sensor. Using Crumble, they programmed their light to only go on when it was dark.
